Compact, enclosed power supplies meet Eco-design Directive for Energy-Related Products
Carlo Gavazzi announces compact, energy saving SPP1 Series Enclosed Power Supplies meeting the Eco-design Directive for Energy-Related Products (ErP).
Carlo Gavazzi SPP1 Series Enclosed Power Supplies are compact and complement the company’s existing offering of SPD Industrial DIN-rail and SPM Low Profile Power Supplies. Despite their compact size, they are packed with features, such as high efficiencies up to 87% resulting in more energy to the dc load. Furthermore, with an mean time between failure (MTBF) of over 700,000 hours, users can be rest assured of a long and reliable service life. The SPP1 Series requires little power in stand-by mode, as it consumes 0.3 watts. It is designed to meet the ErP standard (Eco-design Directive for Energy-Related Products). Short circuit HICCUP mode ensures the SPP1 Series can withstand a continuous short across the output, yet will automatically restart when the fault clears.
Output voltages available are in 5, 12, 15 and 24 V dc, and are rated at 20, 35 and 60 W. The ac/dc universal input offers a full range of 88-264 V ac and 120-375 V dc making these ideal for OEMs requiring complete design flexibility, independent of available power sources. Carlo Gavazzi’s new SPP1 Series are cRUus and TUV approved, CE marked and are RoHS compliant. Features include:
- Universal inputs 88-264 V ac and 120-375 V dc
- 5, 12, 15 and 24 V dc outputs
